Lansing Day & HPSA

Lansing Day of Advocacy is HPSA’s signature, hands-on advocacy experience – designed to help students turn a health policy issue they care about into a clear, realistic “ask” and practice how to communicate it effectively.

On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, we’ll travel to Lansing and spend the day at the Michigan State Capitol meeting with legislators/staff in small topic groups. Before the trip, we’ll host quick trainings on one-pagers, talking points, legislator research, and mock meetings so you feel confident showing up and advocating.
